Driving Knowledge Test and Driving Skills Test

Knowledge tests are available in seven languages: English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Spanish, and Vietnamese

Knowledge Test: $30 for one attempt

Walk-in or schedule an appointment.  Whether you walk-in or schedule an appointment, please arrive 30 minutes early to complete your registration.

  • Bring photo ID or passport
  • Must have your Washington ID number, if you don’t have one  please see below how to pre-apply it.

$50 with your vehicle
$70 if using East Hill Driving School vehicle, must be pre-arranged.

Check your vehicle before the test:

  • Doors open from both the inside and outside.
  • Headlights, taillights, turn signals, and brake lights must be in working order.
  • Seat belts must work properly
  • Insurance
  • Customers that are 5min late for their appointment will have their test cancelled and will not be given a refund.
  • Rescheduling will be permitted 1 time when given a 24 hour notice.
